APARTMENT RENTAL REGULATIONS


These regulations define the terms and conditions of reservation, rental, and stay at Apartamenty Popi accommodation facilities. Making a reservation and paying a deposit or advance payment constitutes confirmation that you have read and accepted all provisions of these regulations.

§ 1. General provisions and definitions

  1. The owner and operator of the facilities under the Apartamenty Popi brand is a short-term rental management entity based in Gdańsk (hereinafter referred to as the "Landlord").
  2. The natural or legal person using the accommodation services is the “Guest”.
  3. The Regulations are an integral part of the apartment rental agreement, which is concluded by making a reservation (both directly and through intermediary platforms such as Smoobu, Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.).

§ 2. Reservation and payment rules

  1. Reservations can be made electronically via the website booking system, external booking portals or directly by email/phone.
  2. Confirmation of the reservation takes place after payment in accordance with the selected tariff conditions (payment in advance or payment of a deposit within a specified period).
  3. Cancellations, changes to dates and refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the offer selected at the time of purchase (non-refundable or flexible).

§ 3. Check-in and automatic access system

  1. The hotel day starts at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and ends at 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
  2. Apartamenty Popi facilities have a maintenance-free, automatic check-in system based on electronic locks.
  3. On the day of arrival, after verifying the payment and completing any required online check-in, the Guest receives access instructions (a digital code or a link to open the door via smartphone).
  4. The Landlord is not responsible for the inability to enter the apartment due to the Guest's phone being discharged or the Guest's lack of access to the mobile network, but provides technical support at the telephone number provided.
  5. If you wish to extend your stay, please notify us no later than 8:00 PM on the day before your departure. Extensions are subject to apartment availability and may incur an additional fee.

§ 4. Rules for using the apartment

  1. The apartment may only be occupied by the number of people specified during the booking process. Third parties (unregistered guests) are not permitted in the apartment after 10:00 PM.
  2. There is strict silence in the facilities from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following day.
  3. Guests are obligated to maintain the technical condition and order of the apartment. Before leaving, guests are asked to wash dishes and dispose of trash in the designated containers.
  4. Each time the Guest leaves the apartment, he or she is obliged to close the windows, turn off electrical appliances and ensure that the entrance door is properly closed.

⚠️ KEY PROHIBITIONS AND PENALTIES:

  • Strict smoking ban: Smoking, e-cigarettes and all types of tobacco products is strictly prohibited inside the apartments and in the stairwells.
  • Ban on organizing parties: It is strictly forbidden to organize parties, stag and hen parties or other gatherings that disturb the peace of the building's residents in the apartments.
  • Pets: Pets are allowed only after prior arrangement with the Landlord and may incur an additional fee.
  • Violation of the smoking ban or the organisation of events will result in a contractual penalty of PLN 1,000 and may also result in immediate termination of the rental agreement without reimbursement of the costs of stay.

§ 5. Liability for damages

  1. The guest is fully financially responsible for any damage, destruction or missing equipment in the apartment caused by his fault or the fault of people visiting him.
  2. In the event of damage, the Guest is obliged to immediately inform the Lessor about this fact.
  3. The Lessor reserves the right to collect a refundable deposit to secure any claims, and in the absence of a deposit, to charge the Guest's payment card or issue a debit note after documenting the damage (photos, repair estimate).
  4. The Landlord is not liable for the loss or damage of items brought into the apartment by the Guest (including cash, valuables, electronic equipment).

§ 6. Privacy Policy (GDPR)

  1. The administrator of the personal data of Guests is the Lessor.
  2. Personal data is processed solely for the purpose of executing the rental agreement, handling the reservation process and fulfilling the legal obligations incumbent on the controller (e.g. issuing an invoice).

§ 7. Complaints and final provisions

  1. Any complaints regarding the standard of the apartment or technical issues should be reported immediately by phone upon discovery. The landlord will make every effort to remedy the defects as quickly as possible.
  2. In matters not regulated by these regulations, the relevant provisions of the Polish Civil Code shall apply.
  3. The court having jurisdiction to resolve any disputes is the court having jurisdiction over the location of the property (Gdańsk).
